A Day in the World

The other day I had a very nice surprise when me and Peter went to visit Waterstones and look around like we do every now and then. Whilst looking at the Photography section, I came across this big book with a very familiar title. Having gone through most of the pages, I have finally come across a page that showed something very familiar indeed. It was a photograph of my younger sister that I have taken last year for one of my university modules.

But let me go back to the beginning and explain! Last year, Peter showed me this website  and I thought of taking a part in this unique project. It so happened that on the 15th May 2012, I have had a photo shoot for my last university module in the first year where after lots of fails, I have finally got to photograph my final image. I have then submitted one of the test pictures to aday.org. A few months later, I have received an email from them asking if they could use it for a book they plan to make out of some of the submissions. Naturally, I agreed! I had no idea when the book was going to come out so when I saw it in Waterstones the other day, it was a superb surprise!

Here you can see the picture that I have submitted and how it looks in the book.
