Collaging my images

For my current project, I am doing some self-portraiture which explores the idea of shyness and hiding and overcoming those. During one of the crits at uni, it was suggested to me that I try out some collaging and one of the artists that was recommended to look at was Maurizio Anzeri whose work I absolutely adore. Whilst I wasn't brave enough to use a needle and thread to collage, I simply used a fine pen to draw the lines. I don't want to show any of the current work before the project isn't finished but I have transformed one of my favourite images from my latest project Caugh in Public. It is so much fun and I will definitely be trying it out some more in the future.
