Making it up: Photographic Fictions

Last Saturday me and Peter went to visit some exhibitions in London to get in the mood for university this coming Monday. One of the museums we went to was V&A where we saw Making it up: Photographic Fictions along some other displays. Its purpose was to show photographs by artists such as Gregory Crewdson, Duane Michals, Julia Margaret Cameron, etc that deal with being truthful but also telling stories and evoking the viewer's imaginary.

It was a great and very influential exhibition to see with lots of beautiful imagery and interesting descriptions. My favourite was the story about Howard Grey's photographs which you can see below. It, the exhibition, certainly does open up the never ending debate of whether the camera (or photograph) lies.
