A week after handing in the last ever university modules to be checked and marked, we have had the private viewing of our final degree shows on Friday the 13th June at Colchester School of Art. Having done two group exhibitions this year already, this one was definitely the most successful one. Everyone has displayed some of their best university works up to date. The private view night went great, with lots of people enjoying great art (not only photography) and some nice food, too.
I have displayed my latest project Food for Thought which consisted of the five portraits in the last post. Printed by Metro Imaging and framed by Redwood Photographic, I was happy with how my work looked on a wall in a public space.
On the Monday after, whilst invigilating the space, I have had the opportunity to speak about my work in more detail to a few groups of A-Level students who have come to see the exhibitions which was a great practice.
Here are some of the great art that was on the show. Includes photography, graphic design and fashion and textiles work.
