Canada 2014: reliving my summer vacations pt. I

As a well done to finishing university, me and Peter have booked tickets to Canada earlier on this year. It was exciting for both of us but it was stressful at times too. We weren't sure whether a month long vacations just weeks after ending education and possibly being offered jobs would be the best idea but at the same time we both felt like we needed a break. It was my first out-of-Europe trip ever so I wasn't sure what to expect. What was great about it though, is that I was able to meet some of Peter's family who live there. It was wonderful to spend a month surrounded by such great people.

One of our trips was Toronto where we have visited the Ripley's Aquarium, Eaton Centre and, of course, the CN Tower. Needless to say that the last one was my favourite. Although I'm not scared of heights, the sight of how high the CN Tower was has made me a little nervous. However, it all went away once the lift has moved up and the buildings below us began to look smaller. The view from the top was amazing and we even got to see a plane taking off from the little airport at the island on the lake. The CN Tower has left an ever-lasting impression on me and I couldn't stop snapping pictures of it whenever I saw it pop up during walks around the town. Another thing that had the same effect on me were the never-ending Canadian roads which are one of my favourite sights from that trip.
