Despite studying Art and Design at college for 2 years, I wouldn't call myself a good drawer at all. I think I was always too impatient for drawing and always thought I knew what I was drawing instead of actually looking at it. Maybe that's why I have chosen to go with photography in the end! One drawing lesson that I did however enjoy was fashion illustration. I have only ever had a few lessons of it a few years ago and after that I have abandoned it sadly. However since seeing a lot of beautiful fashion illustrations on Tumblr (I will be writing a post on it soon), I went to buy myself a sketchpad and some crayons and started drawing myself.
Here, by stages, you can see my first sketch. I used a pencil to draw it, watercolours to fill it in with colour and colour crayons to give some details.
And here's the finished drawing. Scanned in so the quality isn't the best.
