Continuing to do some fashion illustration in order to finish my sketchpad, I thought to move on from bright watercolours and colour pencils and do some ink paintings. The paper was absorbing the ink so much and in such quick time that I had to do quite a lot of layers where I wanted the shadows to be really dark. I have also adjusted the tones in Photoshop to make the drawings look more like they do in the sketchbook. I have forgotten how much I liked painting with ink, it's so much fun!
